This is one of those wierd coincidences that rarely ever happens. Bengie Molina started the season with the San Francisco Giants. He was traded to the Texas Rangers in July after playing 61 games for the Giants. When the World Series ends, he will get a World Series ring regardless if the Rangers or Giants Win. He is the first catcher in MLB history to appear in a World Series while going against the team he played for earlier in the season. In the end either way he wins.
