  • Dodgers Off-Season Signings - Newest Addition (Juan Uribe)

    Dodgers have been a little busy this off-season trying to find a power bat and pitching, both in the bullpen and rotation.

    Dodgers sign Ted Lilly to a three-year deal. This rotation could be great along with Kershaw, Billingsley, Kuroda, and Garland. {Link} {My Link}

    Dodgers sign Jay Gibbons to a one-year deal. Gibbons was a great late season call-up last season, hopefully he can fill in when one of our OF need a rest. {Link}

    Dodgers sign Hiroki Kuroda to a one-year deal. This will most likely be his final season in the states. {Link}

    Dodgers sign Nishijima and Takano to Minor League contracts. Both very young pitchers from Japan and hopefully they can work their up into the rotation in a few years. {Link}

    Dodgers sign Dana Eveland to a Minor League contract. Didn't have much success with the Athletics and i don't expect anything from him. {Link}

    Dodgers sign Jon Garland as their Fifth Starter. It's a one-year deal with a club option for 2012. {Link}

    The newest Dodger addition is Juan Uribe. He's a utility player who just came off a World Series win with the San Francisco Giants. With Casey Blake getting up there in age and Theriot not a power hitting 2B, this gives the Dodgers some more power. {Link}

    Just waiting to see who the Dodgers bring in to help out our biggest problem, the bullpen. I like the Uribe and Garland signings so far.
