Dodgers Re-sign Vicente Padilla

The Los Angeles Dodgers have re-signed starting pitcher, Vicente Padilla to a one-year deal worth $2 million, pending physical.

Padilla will most likely start in the bullpen and fill in the rotation if any starter goes down with injury during the season. I like the veteran pitchers the Dodgers have at the bottom of the rotation. This is good for the bullpen that has been overused the past 3 seasons under Joe Torre.
