  • Chad Billingsley Signs 4-Year Contract

    From Yahoo:
LOS ANGELES —Pitcher Chad Billingsley and the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed Tuesday to a four-year contract worth about $41.3 million that adds $35 million in guaranteed money over the final three seasons.

Billingsley agreed in January to a one-year contract worth $6,275,000. The new deal gives him salaries of $9 million in 2012, $11 million in 2013 and $12 million in 2014. The Dodgers have a $14 million option for 2015 with a $3 million buyout.
    Great signing by the Dodgers.

Billingsley has had a winning season every year he's been in the big leagues. Can't afford to let him go at such a young age. The Dodgers rotation is looking bright for years to come.
