Just saw this on Yahoo. I know sometimes athletes fall on hard times and have to make a living somehow, but this is kind of ridiculous.

As a fan of the guy it sucks that he is a huge @$$! If he was more fan friendly his reputation would not be so bad! It gets harder and harder to still collect this guy when stuff like this comes around..

He was my favorite player when I was a kid, I still have a door poster of him in my bedroom at my parents house, it does suck that he's an @$$.

Great article... however it didn't shock me at all. Actually... at this point very little would shock me about Canseco. I loved him during the Bash Brothers years, so I try to focus on the good memories, than the bad.

I'm actually tempted to grab his autograph the next time I'm in Vegas.

I made a big trade back in about 89. I traded away an OJ Simpson rookie for a 86 Fleer Canseco and some other cards. With OJ's problems, I'm not sure either one of us ended up on the better end of the deal. Strange thing is that the value of the trade was 100.00 at the time!
