I disagree some what. Werth had more than 1 good year, but his age is what made the deal so ridiculous. He's already at the end of his prime, so it won't get much better most likely.

What was odd for Zimmerman is he's had trouble staying on the field and his ability doesn't suggest he's a $100 million player.

True he had 2 good years 2009 was better than 2010. Zimmerman since playing fulltime has played in 157, 162, 106, 157, 142, 101. Which is only 2 injury plagued years. I don't know eith the way contracts are being issued out. THis one isn't to bad for the long run. Alot better than some of them at least.
