Chris Carpenter has suffered another set-back in his rehab. He was scheduled to throw to live hitters today but started experiencing soreness and weakness in his pitching shoulder the day after throwing to live hitters on Saturday.
Chris Carpenter has a dead arm! He is used up as a starting pitcher! He was over used during last years playoffs. He had a shortened off season. He's old. Stick a fork in him. He's done. Its time to move on.
If Shelby Miller isn't ready for the call up then its time to trade for a starting pitcher. Rzepchynski is not the answer. He couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag with instructions right now. Not sure Joe Kelly could find the mound if he didn't follow the other 8 players onto the field. Westbrook has talent but Cardinals can't score runs when he pitches most of the time.
Trade Schumaker! He's as useless as teets on a boar hog!
And last, but not least, fire Mozelak!
