Remember when he was an All-Star for the Dodgers.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Shortstop Cesar Izturis has been claimed by the Washington Nationals off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers.

Izturis, an NL All-Star and Gold Glove winner in 2004, is batting .235 with two homers and 11 RBIs in 57 games this season. He is making $875,000.
