    Twins Puts Up 18 Runs Including 10 Run Inning

    Geez. LOL!

    CHICAGO (AP) -- Chris Parmelee homered to cap a 10-run fifth inning and the Minnesota Twins routed the Chicago White Sox 18-9 on Tuesday night.

    The Twins also batted around in a seven-run second against rookie Jose Quintana, but first-place Chicago remained one game ahead of Detroit in the AL Central. The Tigers lost 3-2 to Cleveland.

    Minnesota pecked away methodically with 17 hits - only three went for extra bases.

          This game was one of the rare highlights of this dismal season. I'd call it more a fluke game than anything else. Think about it. Giving up 9 runs in nearly any other game would have resulted in a loss. My poor Twinkies. Here's to 2014!
