              That's not surprising. Baseball is the hardest sport to project when drafting. However, in the Astros case, it's because they were being run terribly.

                The Astros rested on the laurels of the Killer B's and didn't bother to draft talent, develop it or trade to make themselves a better team. For the most part, they were just concerned with catching up to/competing with the Cardinals.
