    The Diamondbacks and Cody Ross have agreed to a three-year contract, reports Mark Feinsand of The New York Daily News.

    ESPN's Jim Bowden reports that Ross received a total of $26MM, which includes the $1MM buyout of a fourth year club option.

    This deal really couldn't make less sense. A platoon outfielder and they already have Kubel, Upton, Parra, Eaton etc.
