The 2013 MLB All-Star Game will take place on July 16 at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. The rosters for each team will be announced on July 6, with fan voting for the final roster spot concluding on July 11.
Despite the fact that it now determines home-field advantage in the World Series, the All-Star Game remains an exercise mainly geared toward the fans.
Even with the rosters recently expanded to 34 players, there will always be a handful of players who wind up snubbed, and who belongs on the All-Star rosters always stirs up some good debate in the MLB community.
With that in mind, here is my best guess as to the 68 players who will be named to the roster come July 6. It should be pointed out that this is not necessarily who I feel deserves to make the team in every case, but instead, my predictions for who inevitably will.
