  • 2013 NT Machado RPA Emerald Question

    Hello All,

I wanted to pick the brains of some other collectors about this card.
I know the 2013 NT RPA's are extremely hard to come by because there was no NT that year and the RPA's only came in Panini America's Pastime.

I have been looking to either sell or try and get the rest of these cards but noticed something when i was browsing Ebay.
All of the others that i have found have been signed incorrectly on the patch and the auto is bleeding but the one i have it is actually signed correctly and with a clean signature.

My questions is, does the correct signature make the value worth more? or does that even take in account?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Id say there's no way to account for how many cards in the set were signed which way, and surely Beckett wont list "patch" vs. "on-card" auto values, so Id say yours should book at normal value and if anything, the cards with the bleeding patch autos would carry a lesser value.....in my opinion.

    NICE card!

    Are you trading it?

      I appreciate your response,
I know Beckett can be difficult because they normally wont price items that are numbered 10 or less.

I was told at one point that the 13 NT RPA's depending on player were worth up to 2000 because NT didnt exist in 2013.
And now I am getting told that most of them are not even reaching the $200 mark.

A lot of the times i have a hard time believing that a hard to come by RPA of a really good player goes for penny of the dollar and a prospect with no Pro experience can go for 58,000.

I was more looking to sell the Machado once i had a better idea of value but i wouldnt be against discussing trades.

Value-wise, I can only offer this as a reference:
2013 Panini America's Pastime National Treasures Rookies #330 Manny Machado JSY AU #rd /99..... bv $60

Without being familiar with the circumstance you mentioned above, Id say the one you have carries a value of about $100-120???

        ....anyone else have an opinion?

Definitely an interesting card and situation......what do you collect?

Yeah the one thing i have noticed is that the /99 for the most part have been signed incorrectly and were signed on the single color jersey.

So how do you put a value on a /99 single color jersey VS /10 3 color Patch Auto?

I Main collection is in Football but i like to chase Darvish, Machado, and HOF's for my Baseball PC

That value is just my opinion.....I have a couple football cards that would match up in my eyes, an AP auto #rd to /20...bv $150, and a Cam N.ewton Gold standard and AJ Green auto that both book $100 ea. here: HTG Photos by deannal_2008 | Photobucket

I collect baseball HOF too, so those are not available.

Take a look if youd like to...... if nothing matches up for you, no worries, I appreciate to look either way.
