  • sending cards off to be graded

Hi guys, I'm looking to send some cards in to get graded pretty soon. I've read numerous threads on which company is the best and all the quirks that come with each different grading service. What I haven't found is how the process actually works to send the cards in and I was hoping someone could walk me through it! Also any opinions on which grading is the best would be greatly appreciated. I've basically narrowed it down to Beckett and PSA. I'm about to send some valuable cards in and I'm a little hesitant to just through it in the mailbox. Thanks for your time and god bless
I buy the card not the grade!. My want list gets updated way to frequently to be consistent.

I am always in the market for Cards,Any Alabama player current or former(football only), current or former St Louis Cardinals especially Albert Pujols,Matt Carpenter,Stephen Piscotty and Mark Mcgwire,Grant Hill and other duke blue devil. Also set building 2013 bowman chrome mini in numbered refractors.

I can't say I can help with preparing the cards for shipping, or submission as I usually send mine in with some friends. What I will say is both psa and bgs have advantages that you'd need to weigh personally before you decide which one to send to.
    bgs:
these cards grade for grade will sell higher then psa cards of the same grade (modern)
bgs will grade autographs with the card psa will not (though both can authenticate them if need be)
offers the chance for black label cards (perfect grade on all 4 subgrades)
    psa:
    generally more forgiving grade wise
with vintage can see a premium over bgs
    set registry
    both:
permantly encase and protect cards (visual preference is a personal thing that you need to decide)

    hope this helps
