    Twins Sign Jason Castro To 3 Years $24.5 Million

    Minnesota Twins agree to deal with catcher Jason Castro

    The Minnesota Twins have agreed to a deal with free-agent catcher Jason Castro, for three years, $24.5 million.

    Castro, 29, has spent all six of his major league seasons with the Houston Astros. Last season, he averaged .210 with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs in 329 at-bats, appearing in 113 games while splitting time behind the plate with Evan Gattis.

    Seems like the Twins overspent on this one. Batted .210 and 11 homers at age 29 which should be the prime of his career.
