    Rich Aurilia officially retired, according to MLB.com's Chris Haft.

    He'll be remembered most as a San Francisco Giant. He was a good player and his best season was in 2001 when he hit 37 HRs and had 97 RBIs. The same year the Giants went to the World Series.

    I wonder why people never question him because that was one season out of the ordinary for him, and playing w/ Bonds i wouldn't be surprised.
