Heat F Haslem signs 5-year, $20M deal (AP)

[The Question]

Udonis Haslem is staying with the Miami Heat. Terms were not immediately revealed, although Haslem says he turned down offers from Dallas and Denver that would have paid more. The Heat were expected to announce the signing later Monday. Haslem has been teammates with Dwyane Wade for each of their previous seven NBA seasons, and Wade wanted that relationship to continue.

I think it was reported than Dallas offered him the mid level for 3 years which would be about $20 million. Basically he is playing for 2 years longer now for the same money.

I'm glad he choose to stay with the Heat. Haslem will be much needed.
