Lakers Start Longest Road Trip Of The Season

The Lakers held off the Washington Wizards with a 115-108 victory on Tuesday night. Lakers extended their winning streak to 2 games after dropping the previous 4. Kobe scored 32 points, Gasol added 21 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists, which was 2 shy of another triple-double. This is the 8th straight victory over the Wizards.

The Lakers begin their longest road trip of the season on Wednesday when they take on Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Dec. 8 - LA Clippers
Dec. 10 - Chicago Bulls
Dec. 12 - New Jersey Nets
Dec.14 - Washington Wizards
Dec. 15 - Indiana Pacers
Dec. 17 - Philadelphia 76ers
Dec. 19 - Toronto Raptors

They only play two teams above (.500) on this road trip with one back-to-back. For it to be a successful road trip, i say the Lakers must win at least 5 of the 7 games. It's important they start playing well with each other again. They have been very sloppy the last 2 weeks.

The Lakers have another 7 game road trip right before the All-Star break in February.
