Bobby Jackson is retiring from the NBA today. Jackson has played with the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Hornets, and the Houston Rockets in his 12 year NBA career. Jackson won the 02-03 NBA Sixth Man Award and was best known for his first stint with the Kings.

I always liked the way Jackson played, i remember always using him in NBA 2002-03 on PS2 LOL -

The sad thing is that Bobby Jackson was probably the best point guard to never have been a starter. When he was the 6th Man on the Kings, he could have easily went to 5-6 other teams and be the starting point guard.Comment

True, as I recall, the only year he was a starter was as a rookie in Denver; he put up decent numbers. I always wanted him to be a Laker during their first championship run. Backing up or starting in place of Derek Fisher since Ron Harper and Brian Shaw were on again and off again injured during the 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 seasons.Comment
