D.J. Mbenga To Receive Championship Ring Tonight

The Hornets and D.J. Mbenga come into the Staples Center for the first time this year.

Mbenga was apart of the championship team last year and this off-season the Lakers let him explore free agency. He was a fan favorite for the past couple of years.

Mike Trudell(Lakers Reporter) tweeted:

Phil Jackson said that captains Bryant & Fisher would most likely present D.J. Mbenga with his 2K10 ring on Friday (vs. N.O.)

It would be cool if Fox Sports shows him receiving his ring.
