  • Lakers Sign TV Deal With Time Warner

    The Lakers have reportedly inked a new 20-year deal with Time Warner Cable, acquiring rights to distribute local broadcasts. The deal will send the Lakers to a new sports network in time for the 2012-2013 NBA season. {Lakers Nation}

    Time Warner Cable will launch 2 RSNs in HD, including the first Spanish-language RSN in the States. The deal with the Lakers is for 20 years {Link}
    Terms of the deal not disclosed. The new Lakers RSN will be available in the Lakers’ territory, all of SoCal, Nevada and Hawaii. {Link}
    Well this sucks for those who don't have Tim Warner. No word yet on if the other service providers will receive these channels.
