Lakers Best Win Of The Season

Tonight's game against the Portland Trailblazers was unbelievable. Overtime!

Kobe showed why he's the best closer in the NBA.

Kobe Bryant had 37 points and the Los Angeles Lakers overcame a 10-point deficit late in the fourth quarter to beat Portland 106-101 in overtime Wednesday night, snapping the Trail Blazers' season-best, six-game winning streak.


LaMarcus Aldridge had 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Blazers, but didn't hit a shot in the fourth quarter and missed two key free throws in the extra period.

The Lakers hadn't won back-to-back games in Portland since 2000. The Lakers also improve to 10-2 on the second night of a back-to-back.

While Kobe had 37 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists, he wasn't the MVP of the game. Ron Artest played his best game of the season. He was 5 of 6 from behind the 3-point line. He finished with 24 points and 6 rebounds. He pulled down an offensive rebound in overtime that gave Kobe another chance to extend the lead.
