Philadelphia 76ers Sign Allen Iverson

The Philadelphia 76ers are interested in signing Allen Iverson. Stephen A. Smith is reporting that the team will spend the weekend on the decision. Many team officials are in support of signing Iverson. In wake of Louis Williams being out for the next 8 weeks and Jrue Holiday being a rookie, the team needs another guard on the roster. I hope the 76ers sign Iverson so he can return to the team that drafted him.

Well I think the contracts of Dalembert and Brand are the only things screwing up Philadelphia right now. Well mainly the contract of Dalembert. Worse case scenario, if Iverson signs with them and messes up, they just waive him. I dont think he would mess it up if Philadelphia is the team he is going back to. In the past in Philly, he was really on his own. Now he will have Iggy and Brand on his team. He didnt cause too much trouble in Denver with Carmelo and did defer to him majority of the time.

Philadelphia offered Allen Iverson a 1 year non guaranteed contract today. Seriously non guaranteed? Iverson is supposedly going to make his 76ers redebut against the Nuggets next Monday if he signs the contract. I think AI will be back in the NBA by next week.

I will say he gets upset over playing time in 3-5 games.

He will be starting and playing over 30 min a game. I dont see a problem until Lou Williams comes back in 2 months. Hence the non guaranteed contract status.
