I swear, there NEEDS to be an NBA knowledge test along with the voting, because some of these choices are downright STUPID!

AB is awesome... but not over Brandon Roy, Deron Williams, and Chauncey Billups lol.

I know it's just for starters, but it baffles me how these voters vote for the least deserving players. AI for one lol. And neither of these players will start anyways, but Tyson Chandler (6, 6, and 1) over Brendan Haywood (10, 10, and 2) and David Lee (18 and 10) is stupid.

Like Baseball, its mearly a popularity contest, hence AI so far up there, except in Baseball when someone is truly deserving they start the game (Polanco in 07, Hamilton in 08 etc etc)

My bad, i'm just letting my Rockets bias hate get to me lol.

I almost forgot, TMac is third in guards voting, that is an absolute travesty, and Luis Scola over Ron Artest and LaMarcus Aldridge is dumb as well.

So in the MLB, the coaching staffs of the East/West teams are allowed to take out the players "voted" to start a game and place someone in that's more deserving? If so, the NBA needs to adapt that for the ASG.

No neither can, whoever the fans vote in start, but in both leagues, the players/coaches vote in the reserves

I mean Brandon Inge got in this year, it's just Detroit have nothing else to do except vote.

Josh Hamilton isnt a homer pick lol..

Inge should've been a reserve to begin with, not getting into this, but at that time, he had the 2nd most HRs for a 3rd basemen, 2nd or 3rd most RBIs and he was hitting around .270 at the time, so it wasnt bad for him...

a bad pick is Chad Billingsley, didnt he get benched in the postseason

MLB All Star teams get 32 players on each side which is way too much.

The NBA All Star teams get 12 players on each side, which of course means that deserving players sometimes dont get in. Lets please keep this discussion to the NBA All Star game.

The third return of the NBA All Star Balloting results are in.

Seriously, I dont get why China is still voting for Tracy McGrady. Hopefully he will get traded to the Eastern Conference so we dont have him starting the All Star game. The other 9 starters havent changed since the second return.

no offense to you or Westbrook because he has done well, but with all the "big names" out there this season 17 and 7 just wont get it done, even though its solid production

I agree, he should be on there.

But think about how voting works. People like myself vote for Kobe & Nash/Paul

So everytime i vote, i skip Russell Westbrook. There aren't enough Thunder fans to vote him in
