    Clippers Press Release:
The Los Angeles Clippers will tip-off their 2011-12 NBA regular season schedule on Christmas Night, Sunday, December 25th at Oracle Arena in Oakland against the Golden State Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN, in the first of their franchise-high 22 nationally televised games.

The Clippers will follow their road opener with a one game trip to San Antonio to face the Spurs on Wednesday, December 28th before returning to Los Angeles for their home opener at STAPLES Center against the NBA’s reigning MVP Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on Friday, December 30th.

This season, the Clippers are scheduled to appear three times on TNT, 10 times on ESPN and nine times on NBA TV. The Clippers previous franchise-high for national television appearances occurred in 2006-07 when they were scheduled to appear in 19 nationally televised games. The Clippers game in Portland on February 16th will also be broadcast nationally on ESPN Radio. Other highlights on the schedule are home match-ups against the Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat on Wednesday, January 11th, the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, January 14th and Wednesday, April 4th, the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, January 18th and the Boston Celtics on Monday, March 12th.

The Clippers will play two sets of back-to-back-to-back games (1/16 vs. New Jersey, 1/17 at Utah, 1/18 vs. Dallas and 3/20 at Indiana, 3/21 at Oklahoma City, 3/22 at New Orleans) as well as 16 sets of back-to-back games. The second back-to-back-to-back set will be following a back-to-back (3/17 vs. Houston and 3/18 vs. Detroit) meaning the Clippers will be playing five games in six nights during that stretch. The Clippers also have four road trips of three games or more this season, including two six game trips.

Los Angeles will play 48 games against Western Conference opponents and 18 games against the Eastern Conference. The Clippers will play Golden State, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Denver, Portland and Minnesota four times each. Los Angeles faces the Lakers, Sacramento, Utah, San Antonio, Dallas, Memphis, New Orleans and Houston on three occasions. Atlanta, Washington and New Jersey will battle the Clippers twice. The Clippers will only face the following teams on one occasion during the season: Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, Chicago, Indiana, Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Toronto.

The Clippers will have three games in December (one home, two road), 15 games in January (11 home, four road), 14 games in February (five home, nine road), 20 games in March (11 home, nine road) and 14 games in April (five home, nine road).
