The New Jersey Nets have waived Rafer Alston. After he clears waivers, the Miami Heat are the front runners to sign Alston. In order to sign him, the Heat have agreed to send Chris Quinn and a conditional 2nd Round Pick to the Nets for a 2nd Round Pick.
