Potential has been the key word for the past 4 years. I liked him coming out of SU, but by now he's a definite bust. What is telling to me is that he couldn't even get more than 15 minutes a game with the Kings. I doubt he plays more than 25 games this year.
Greene's expected signing with the Nets has been placed on hold, due to surgery stemming from an ankle injury, Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears reports.
Greene injured his ankle while working out in Charlotte last week; this injury is reportedly a fracture. While a deal with Brooklyn was never guaranteed in the first place, a fractured ankle could spoil Greene's chances at making the Nets' roster. Look for Brooklyn to sign Greene at a later point in the season, they will likely wait until Greene's health is at 100%.
