Just filed to ESPN: Kobe Bryant's ankle injury will force him out of Sunday All-Star Game; Jason Kidd of hometown Mavs to replace him w/West

Also just filed to ESPN.com: Philadelphia's Allen Iverson (personal matters) will be replaced by New York's David Lee

David Lee and Jason Kidd replacing them both. I think Ellis would have replaced Kobe if he didnt get injured this week.

I can agree with David Lee. It sucks Kobe wont be playing, but for the health and sake of the Lakers, it is better than he rests some more. I dont see how Jason Kidd deserves to be an All Star with his numbers. If Monta Ellis wasnt hurt, he probably would have got chosen. Too many injuries this year.

its awesome to see Lee make it even though he's a replacement. definitely deserved

Lee should've been there before this, good for him, and good for AI not participating, nothing about him in my opinion makes him an all-star

Very similar in all categories accept Points and FG % where Westbrook kills Kidd...but Kidd has never been known for shooting
