Hawks Sign Paul Millsap

Free agent forward Paul Millsap has agreed to a two-year, $19 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks, multiple media outlets reported.

The Utah Jazz relinquished their rights to Millsap earlier Friday to clear space for a trade with the Golden State Warriors. In that deal, the Jazz acquired the expiring contracts of Richard Jefferson, Andris Biedrins and Brandon Rush.

Millsap averaged 14.6 points and seven rebounds for the Jazz last season.

Sad to see him leave the Jazz. He was the only player left that was with the team when I moved away from Utah. Now I really don't have any connections to them.
