  • Hawks Sign Ersan Ilyasova To 1 Year $6 Million

Ersan Ilyasova agrees with Hawks on one-year, $6 million deal

Ersan Ilyasova has agreed to stay with the Atlanta Hawks on a one-year deal worth $6 million, according to a report by The Vertical.

Ilyasova, a 30-year-old forward who has played nine NBA seasons, averaged 13.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in 2016-17 while playing for the Thunder, 76ers and Hawks. He has played for six teams since the start of the 2014-15 season.

The Thunder, who dealt for Ilyasvoa in the summer of 2016, traded him to Philadelphia after just three regular-season appearances. At February's trade deadline, Ilyasova got moved for the fourth time in a little over a year when the 76ers dealt him to the Hawks for Tiago Splitter and two future second-round picks.

With Atlanta, Ilyasova averaged 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds over 24.3 minutes per game. A native of Turkey, he averaged just four points and 5.2 rebounds over 15 minutes in six playoff appearances for the Hawks.

Ilyasova signed a four-year, $50 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks in July 2012 before being traded away in June 2015. Ilyasova earned $8.4 million in the final year of that pact last season.

Ilyasova was ranked No. 27 on the list of top available free agents compiled by ESPN's Kevin Pelton.
