Tyler Ennis Agree to 1-Year Contract with Team Option
Tyler Ennis will return to the Los Angeles Lakers after agreeing to a one-year deal with the team Tuesday.
According to ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne, Ennis will earn the league minimum of $1.5 million in 2017-18, and the Lakers have a team option for next year.
Ennis struggled to carve out a meaningful role at any of his previous stops, and the Lakers are his fourth team since the Phoenix Suns selected him with the 18th overall pick of the 2014 draft.
The 22-year-old appeared to find a comfort zone in Los Angeles, averaging 7.7 points and 2.4 assists in 22 games for the Lakers last season. The team also had a 5.4 net rating when he was on the court, according to NBA.com.
