Heat trade guard to continue savings
With cost-savings in mind, the Miami Heat traded guard Brian Roberts and a second-round pick to Portland, league sources told The Vertical.
Roberts was acquired Tuesday in a three-team deal with Charlotte and Memphis that was headlined by Courtney Lee.
The deal saves Miami $6 million and drops it below the luxury-tax line.
