Andrew Nicholson agrees to contract with Washington Wizards
Power forward Andrew Nicholson has agreed to a contract with the Washington Wizards.
Nicholson tweeted about his new team Sunday.
Agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPN's Marc Stein that Nicholson will receive a four-year, $26 million deal.
The 26-year-old Nicholson averaged 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in 56 games for the Orlando Magic last season. Since being the 19th overall draft pick in 2012 by Orlando, Nicholson has averaged 6.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in four NBA seasons, with a total of 36 starts.
Nicholson did not receive a qualifying offer from the Magic, making him an unrestricted free agent.
