Sasha Vujacic signs a one-year deal with the Knicks for the vet minimum - Posting and Toasting
Sasha Vujacic is back. The 32-year-old Vujacic started an incomprehensible 25 games for the Knicks last season. He took over the starting 2-guard job from Arron Afflalo late in the season and then thoroughly outplayed him the rest of the way. Overall Vujacic averaged 4.6 points on 38.3% shooting (36.4% from three) to go along with 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. He hit 45.5% of his three-pointers after the All-Star Break.
