Samuel agrees to three-year, $18.5M deal as part of Falcons trade

By what the Eagles received in return for Samuel it seems to me it was purely a financial decision over anything. I'm not Asante is the greatest, probably not even top ten still, but a seventh round pick just seems like nothing to me.

This was a nice move by the Falcons. Samuel won't tackle anyone, but he's still very good at jumping routes. He has a nice sense of what the quarterbacks and receivers are doing, based on their progressions and moves.
