Profootballtalk.com reports that the Patriots have agreed to terms on a revised contract with Rob Gronkowski.
Per PFT's Mike Florio, the new contract will "replace the final two seasons of his rookie deal." Gronkowski's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, denies a new deal has been struck. The report states that terms are unknown, but the Pats were expected to at least consider addressing it this offseason, despite the fact that Gronkowski was under control through 2013. Just 23, Gronkowski has emerged as the best all-around tight end in football, and it's not even close.
