Coach John Harbaugh revealed after Thursday's preseason opener that WR Torrey Smith (ankle sprain) and TE Ed Dickson (subluxed shoulder) could miss "a few weeks."
Smith's recovery timetable will depend on the location and degree of the sprain. As long as he avoids the dreaded high-ankle sprain, Smith should be back in action for the start of the regular season. We should have an update on the injury this weekend. Dickson will have to undergo an MRI on his shoulder. Dennis Pitta is already out with a broken hand. Joe Flacco isn't going to get much practice with three of his top four weapons until just before the season opener.
