A source tells Profootballtalk.com that Jason Witten will miss at least the rest of the preseason after suffering a spleen injury in Monday night's preseason opener against the Raiders.
Witten took a wicked shot from Raiders MLB Rolando McClain on Monday night. The spleen is reportedly not ruptured, but the serious injury resulted in internal bleeding. While surgery is not expected to be required, it hasn't been ruled out. Although the ultra-tough Witten hasn't missed a game since 2003, he's not a lock to be ready for Week 1 this year.
