Giants CB Terrell Thomas reportedly underwent surgery this week to repair his right ACL for the third time.
After missing all of last season with a torn ACL, Thomas aggravated the injury early in training camp. He had originally opted for rehab, but the knee wasn't responding. The Giants subsequently placed Thomas on injured reserve. After a recent scope, it was discovered that his ACL was indeed partially torn, necessitating reconstructive surgery once again. Thomas is done for the year and won't be receiving his $6 million option bonus next offseason.
