Citing team sources, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports Michael Vick and OC Marty Mornhinweg will keep their jobs as starting quarterback and play-caller respectively coming out of the bye in Week 8.
As expected. Local and national media suspected Vick's job was in danger because coach Andy Reid used similar verbiage in describing his quarterback picture as his defensive coordinator position. Reid is squarely on the hot seat, however, and surely realizes Vick gives his team a better chance to win than untested rookie Nick Foles.
