Bills DE Chris Kelsay is retiring from football.
The move saves Buffalo $5.175 million in salary cap space. Going on 34, Kelsay wasn't effective in a reserve role as he fought through a neck injury last season. Due $4.9 million, he was certain to be released, so he instead chose to go out on his own terms. A 10-year veteran and a starter between 2004-11, Kelsay finishes his career with 32.5 sacks and eight forced fumbles across 147 games. He spent his entire career in Buffalo.
