The State Attorney's Office has decided not to press assault charges against Maurice Jones-Drew.
A bouncer at the Conch House restaurant in St. Augustine, Fla. alleged that Jones-Drew assaulted him with a sucker punch. Police submitted their findings and surveillance footage to prosecutors, who did not believe there was sufficient evidence. It's a big sigh of relief for Jones-Drew, who is now in no danger of any suspension as he enters a contract year. All attention come training camp will be focused on his foot. Over the weekend, MJD insisted it felt "great."
