  • Champ Bailey announces he will keep playing

Champ Bailey told reporters after Sunday's Super Bowl loss to Seattle that he intends to keep playing in 2014.
Bailey was burned repeatedly by Doug Baldwin in Denver's embarrassing loss, though he was playing out of position at slot corner, filling in for injured Chris Harris. At this stage of Bailey's career, he'd be best suited on the perimeter, using the sideline as a crutch. If Bailey is to return to the Broncos, he'll have to take a massive pay cut from his $10.5 million in scheduled salary and bonuses. Bailey turns 36 in the offseason.

No....please retire. Overhaul the defense. It has been vulnerable for the past 2 years. The focus on Peyton has helped hide it, but people who watched Denver know it has been a weakness.
