Steelers signed SS Troy Polamalu to a two-year contract extension through 2016.
GM Kevin Colbert signed both Polamalu and Heath Miller to two-year extensions through 2016 on Wednesday. Polamalu was previously scheduled to earn an $8.25 million base salary in 2014 and count over $10.8 million against the cap. Both numbers will be reduced. Polamalu started all 16 games in 2013.
