    Who the hell is Mel Kyper Jr.?

    To my fellow forum members,

    I was watching the NFL Network yesterday and there was a show on the best draft classes through the years. In one 1984 draft segment, Kyper denounced the Colts for not drafting a QB with there pick. Out comes the Colts GM, absolutely furious that someone; "Who's never ever played sports in his life, would know more about the draft process than the NFL does". Then he commented; "Who the hell is Mel Kyper Jr."?

    I just laughed for the rest of the day. After my laugh, I looked into Kypers past predictions and found he's never been right once. What a great job. You go to work, make up a bunch of BS, and get paid a lot of money for wrong predictions. Then again, he's just making predictions. Albeit, the wrong ones, LOL!

    He is a smooth talking, high energy guy who has found his schtick. It goes to show you that the general public does not care about your record - kind of like politics, I guess!
    Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel
    Favorite football players include: Peyton Manning, John Elway, Daunte Culpepper, Mike Alstott, Blake Bortles, and Dri Archer
    Collecting: 2012 Topps Mini 1987 topps... non-certified autos (in person or through the mail), autographed cards with bible verses

      That's so funny, the NFL Network said that Kyper had actually created a commentators role tailored just for himself (Schtick)!

        I prefer Mike Mayock. I like his commentary much better and he seems to know what he is talking about. Much better track rating imho
