NFL suspended Rams WR Stedman Bailey four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Rams have known of Bailey's impending ban for "several months." It's despite that fact that they opted not to draft a single receiver. A third-round pick last season, Bailey started two of the Rams' final four games, finishing his rookie year with a 17/226/0 line. Bailey had an outside chance at earning a starting job in training camp, but will now be behind the eight ball when he returns in Week 6. Receiver remains a trouble spot for a team that's struggled to find talented wideouts for Sam Bradford.
