49ers CB Eric Wright is retiring.
Only 29 (next month), Wright is barely two years removed from signing a five-year, $37.5 million contract with the Bucs, but has seen his career go down in flames since getting his big deal. He served a four-game PED ban in 2012, and was busted for DUI last summer. He was released by the Bucs shortly thereafter. Wright signed with the Niners in August, but was limited to 120 defensive snaps across seven games last season.
