Packers signed coach Mike McCarthy to a multi-year contract extension.
Teams rarely divulge coaching-contract details, but McCarthy was believed to already be making more than $5 million per season. ESPN's Rob Demovsky believes his extension likely takes him through 2018. In his ninth season as head coach, McCarthy is just five wins (93) behind Vince Lombardi for the second most in franchise history.
