Ravens signed RCB Jimmy Smith to a four-year, $48 million extension.

Smith was performing as one of the league's best corners last season before suffering a Lisfranc injury in Week 8. Going on 27, Smith has steadily improved over the course of his four-year career, though he has only five lifetime picks. Locking him up now is a bet that he will continue to improve.
