Chiefs signed OLB Justin Houston to a six-year, $101 million contract.
The deal includes a whopping $52.5 million in guaranteed money, and a $20.5 million signing bonus. It's both the richest deal in Chiefs history and the largest ever for an NFL linebacker. Houston wanted J.J. Watt money and he got it. This contract will keep Houston in Kansas City until his age-31 season. Houston finished with 22 sacks last season, just a half-sack shy of Michael Strahan's single season record. With Houston under contract, Dez Bryant, Jason Pierre-Paul and Demaryius Thomas remain as the NFL's only unsigned franchise players.
